अस्ट्रेलियन क्याम्प, स्थानीय नाम ठूलाखर्क, अन्नपूर्ण संरक्षण क्षेत्रभित्र करिब २,०५० मिटर उचाइमा रहेको पुरानो चरन खर्क हो, जहाँ केही लज र टेन्ट टाँग्न मिल्ने घाँसे चौर छन्। यहाँ पैदल मात्र पुगिन्छ: पोखरा–बागलुङ राजमार्गको काँडेबाट एकदेखि दुई घण्टा उकालो, वा धम्पुसबाट करिब ४५ मिनेट। लजहरूमा खाना, शौचालय र बिजुली पाइन्छ, र एनटीसी तथा एनसेल दुवै चल्छन्। शरद र वसन्त ऋतु जान उपयुक्त मानिन्छ।

कसरी पुग्ने
- Dhampus, about 45 minutes on foot
- Cluster of lodges on the meadow: Angel's Guest House, Hotel Gurans, Machhapuchhre Lodge, Australian Camp Guest House
- Pokhara-Baglung highway at Kande; a road also reaches Dhampus village
- Kande, on the Pokhara-Baglung highway; alternative start at Dhampus village (or Phedi for the longer walk through Dhampus)
- Kande (highway) or Dhampus village
- Local bus from Baglung Bus Park in Pokhara to Kande (about an hour), or taxi/jeep from Lakeside to Kande (45-60 minutes)
- From Kande: uphill on stone steps and forest trail, 1 to 2 hours depending on pace. From Dhampus: about 45 minutes to 1 hour along the ridge.

- Lodge operators reported that clean water is short in the area and that demand 'shoots up' in peak season (2017)

- Conservation-area code: 'Carry out what you carry in'; use waste bins where provided
- NTNC's Minimum Impact Code for the conservation area: 'Do not use campfires: wear warm clothing, and cook with kerosene.' Lodges and tour operators nevertheless advertise campfires; ask the lodge.
- Walk-in only: an uphill climb on stone steps and forest trail from Kande; no vehicle reaches the camp
- Lodge restaurants in the hamlet serve meals

- Inside the Annapurna Conservation Area. NTNC entry permit: single entry, children under 10 need none, double fee if issued at a check post. Foreigners NPR 3,000, SAARC nationals NPR 1,000 (NTNC e-permit portal, undated page, read 2026-10-05; the same text is in the Internet Archive copies checked from 2024-10-09 to 2026-06-02). Nepali citizens: NPR 100 per person per entry on the Nepal Tourism Board's park-fee table (undated page, read 2026-10-04; same row in the copies checked from 2021-12-20 to 2026-10-04); the NTNC portal states no Nepali rate. Blogs disagree on whether a permit is asked for on the short Kande walk: a 2021 guide lists the NPR 3,000 permit, a 2018 and a 2026 article say none is needed for the day hike.
