Step 1 · Campsites

Find your ground

Everyday campsites, each fact that matters carrying a date and a source: water, access, fees and permission.

campsites for everyday camping

Coverage is growing and incomplete. We never claim every campsite is listed or verified.

On the way

Borrow the kit

A local vendor lends you the pack for the nights ahead. You arrange it, and pay, with them directly.

Step 2 · Gear

Borrow what you need

Tents, sleeping bags, stoves and bundles from independent vendors. Prices are per item in NPR.

How it works

  1. Request

Choose dates and send a request. Collection point and policies are shown before you send it.

  2. The vendor accepts

The vendor checks availability and accepts or declines. Nothing is reserved until they accept.

  3. Pay the vendor directly

Arrange payment and any deposit with the vendor, using a method they list.

Before you set off

Ask someone who knows

A guide marks the water, the turnings and whose land it is. Dated, first-hand, and worth more than a guess.

Step 3 · Honesty

Know before you go

Honest information beats confident guesses. Three rules shape every campsite page.

  1. Unknown means unknown

If nobody has reported water, access or fees yet, we say “unknown”. It never means “no”.

  2. Every fact is dated and sourced

See when something was last observed and who reported it. Trails, water and roads change with the seasons.

  3. A listing isn’t permission

Ask the landowner, community or local office before you pitch a tent.
